“Wildlife on Tap” Lecture Series

The Fund for Animals Cape Wildlife Center is proud to present its “Wildlife on Tap” lecture series, sponsored by Cape Cod Beer. The monthly lectures will be held on Wednesday evenings, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cape Cod Beer, 1336 Phinney’s Lane, Hyannis.
A donation of $10 per person will include admission, free popcorn and other goodies. All proceeds will help Cape Wildlife Center care for about 2,000 patients in 2014. The brewery’s award-winning beer will be available for $5 a pint.

The internationally acclaimed choir will present the pure, luminous music of the early Renaissance in sacred works that tell of the life and teachings of Christ. February 6 & 7, Gloriae Dei Cantores presents chamber concerts of early Renaissance music. As one reviewer said, "Be transported to a timeless place of eternal beauty."

Two day Class - Shape Your Own Stand-Up Paddleboard

Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South St, Hyannis Port, MA
The class will be taught by Cape Cod’s own Shawn Vecchione using traditional wood blank shipping tools in the museum’s boat building shop.The two day shaping class will be February 7th from 10am to 5pm and Sunday February 8th class will be from 10am to 3pm. Shawn incorporates sustainable materials into more eco-friendly surfboard production, and each student will shape and finish their own wood blank. At the end of the class, each student board will be completed by a professional glasser working with Shawn. The cost is $24 for materials, instruction, and the lecture.
