New England Charm Meets Old World Hospitality

New England charm meets Old World hospitality at this B&B run by a genial English innkeeper. The rooms are comfortably elegant and the details spot on. No nickel and diming here - everything from loaner bikes to wi-fi is provided free for guests.
Everything about this place says relax and make yourself at home. Grab an Agatha Christie from the bookshelf and a complimentary liqueur, and even a rainy day will soothe the soul. Built in 1810, the Queen Anne style house blends antique fittings with bright upbeat tones. The inn's bountiful flower gardens provide themes for the five guest rooms. Each sports a queen or king featherbed, oversize marble shower and a discreet flat-screen TV. Breakfast here sets the standard - four luscious courses with the likes of Grand Mariner french toast, served on a table set with candles and formal English silverware. Little wonder the place books solid with guests who return year after year.

Rated 5.0: There really aren't the words to describe my experience of staying at the Honeysuckle Hill Inn. I had three spare days in the States, traveling alone, on public transport and with a pile of books as a back up. I often have to travel for fieldwork and have a fairly high level of resignation and endurance which, for once, was totally unnecessary.
The guest house is amazing in terms of scenery, comfort, facilities, food, drink and hospitality but it was the actions of Freddy (backed up brilliantly by Roberta) who made my trip so exceptional; he is a kind and entertaining host whose ability to facilitate and not intrude is exceptional. He transformed what could have been a fairly straightforward peek at Cape Cod into a memory that will remain with me forever. Thank you for your ever-ready taxi service, for your ability to make people feel so at home and most of all, for your thoughtfulness.
Those legendary breakfasts that I emailed my sister about everyday (!), the relaxed company of other guests and just the level of attention to detail that transformed what could have been another guest house experience into something so memorable... I can't recommend this place enough - it's a fantastic experience, go and enjoy it!

Highlight of Our Holiday

Rated 5.0: Our three day stay at the Honeysuckle Inn turned out to be a highlight of our holiday to the USA. We knew from the time we arrived with the friendly welcome from Ruth and Freddie that this was a special place and we were not disappointed. The Inn's furnishings suit the 200 year old building and we felt at home from the minute we stepped through the front door. All the extras that you do not find in many other 5 star facilities are there - nibblies, complimentary drinks and breakfasts to die for and heaps more. Freddie and Ruth seem to know everyone on the Cape and their advice on what to see, where to go and where to have that special meal was greatly appreciated.
