Yarmouth, Cape Cod

Yarmouth, Massachusetts' borders stretch the full width of Cape Cod, with shoreline on both Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound.

To the north is the village of Yarmouthport, an attractive unspoiled area that is completely New England in feeling.

Sea captain’s homes (many of which are now B&Bs), an 1889 pharmacy, the Cape’s oldest inn, an antiquarian bookstore and a sprawling village green line its main thoroughfare.

South Yarmouth, along southerly Route 28, provides a vast array of places to stay and a carnival of activities for families. Bass River, the longest tidal river on the eastern seaboard, is rimmed with antique homes and elegant waterfront estates.
