Quahog Day

Quahog Day

Cape Codders will usher in summer with the 16th Annual Quahog Day ceremony on Thuraday, June 20th from 12 to 2 pm. The event will take place at The Chart Room overlooking the picturesque Cataumet Marina, and WBZ-TV Chief Meteorologist Eric Fisher will once again emcee this year’s festivities!

Celebrated on the first day of summer each year since 2009, Quahog Day has become a rite of passage into the glorious summer season for Cape Codders. The Cape’s beloved mascot, Doug the Quahog, will give his much-anticipated prediction for how many beach days lie ahead. Surrounded by his elite security detail, Doug will whisper his forecast to Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce CEO Paul Niedzwiecki, who will translate it for the masses.

This event is free and open to all. Click here to register today!

Guests can enjoy the stunning views of the marina while enjoying food and drink from The Chart Room menu, including the restaurant’s world-famous mudslides. Limited-edition Quahog Day T-shirts, designed by a Cape Cod Regional Technical High School student, will be on sale.
